Quality Policy

The strategic trends of OAO NPP “Start” activities is manufacturing and supply of products which meet customers’ demands regarding quality and reliability level, as well as conformity with the established standards and specifications minimizing production losses.

Priority orientations of the company’s activities are the following:

  • continuous customer satisfaction through the improvement of quality management system;
  • providing high quality products;
  • acquiring a   status of a reliable supplier;
  • responding promptly on customers’ requirements and de-risking regarding state defense orders;
  • market extension, providing increase in production output and sales, including special-purpose products;
  • providing the company’s Quality Management System’s (QMS) compliance with international, national and military standards.

Quality Management System (QMS) which has been developed by the company’s management team determines specific aims regarding quality and assessment criteria.

Quality-oriented Goals.

To reach the goals regarding quality requirements OAO “NPP “Start” focuses on:

  • development and implementation of QMS according to State standard GOST R ISO 9001-2001 and SRPPP VТ;
  • development and realization of quality supporting programs (POKo, PPK) in the development and production phase;
  • marketing promotion, expending popular series with advanced features and offer of competitive prices based on market research and customers’s demands ;
  • continuous improvement of product quality and production technology
  • scrupulous sourcing and professional engagement and interaction with proper subsuppliers;
  • involvement of employees to the process of QMS development, implementation and operation;
  • persistent analysis of QMS effectiveness by the company top management and planning measures to increase its efficiency.

Authority and Responsibility for the Implementation of Quality Policy

The head of the company represented by General Manager is responsible for:

  • explanation of the Quality Policy and establishing its goals on different levels including all structural subdivisions;
  • supply of resources required for the goal-oriented Policy implementation, achieving its aims and   stimulating the staff participating in the QMS.

Heads of the structural subdivisions are responsible, within their power, for the implementation of the Quality Policy determined by the Structural Subdivision Regulations.

Every employee is personally liable for quality work (employment agreement) and his duty regulations.
